We've a new house+yard in Minnesota that was sodded last summer. We hired Biolawn to do fertilizer, weed control and mole/grub control.

After their first application about a week ago we noticed increasingly evident dead grass tire tracks. We've had very hot weather, especially for this early in the season, and combined with a new not totally dialed in irrigation system had a few places that were a bit dryer than the rest. The dead grass tire tracks somewhat correlate with these areas though some are in areas that are fully green.

They first blamed our lawn mower but since I use a push mower the 6" wide dead grass tracks didn't match up too well with my 1" wide mower tyres.

Next said that it is leaf blight / fungus. Does that seem correct?
