Here are my red roses

The shield rose whom I affectionately call The Monster due to the size of it has become a mass of beautiful red blooms!!! The big velvety type roses are my awesome Always Roses and they smell out of this world even when fully opened!!! And the ones next to the fence is the blaze. Will post each one separately. This is the shield

    Your reds are beautiful!

I really love red roses and could possibly live in red rose land and be quite happy.

Reds seem to have such good vase life as well .

Crimson Glory is a wonderful red with a fabulous fragrance.

Got 3 blooms on my Always Rose. This one is a hybrid tea rose. When I bought it from Lowes garden center thought ok well it probably won't last the winter. Cover it up every year. Well guess what?? It has made a BIG LIAR out of me as it it going on FIVE YEARS and this is not one but 3 blooms greeted me this week. This is one of them. I am over the moon with this one. I just wish that mom was alive to see this one. Dedicated it to her.

I am going to have find a wooden pole got the green florist ribbon and tie up the branches to the shield rose due to the blooms it. The one lady thought it was a climbing rose. Said nope. Thought it hadn't been cut back but Geena assured her that it had been. Hah seems to just grow even faster and higher when one does. :D It is the only rose that seems to grow like this!!! The Chinook Sunrise and the Aurora Borealis have to be a different variety than it. Don't grow as big as this one. But hey this is the proof that even though it is a fair size it will still get red blooms on it. Had to laugh at the one lady when we met for coffee in our lounge room about 3 years ago said that due to it being so high as we can see it from the windows that it wouldn't get any blooms on it. Could hardly keep a straight face as I said oh it will you watch. And It did too over 15 of them on it.

They were still selling these ones this year when I went to get the Aurora Borealis rose at our Garden Centre near me. But if this is any indication in how big they get I don't think there is any room for a 2nd one. :D
