A photo would help a lot. Also I am not sure what a Monstera "mini" is(?). Are these cuttings from the tip (newest growth) of the plant? If so do they have a mature node at the base of them with little root nubs? Is it just the very tip (point) of the leaf turning brown or large sections of it?

Thank you for your reply, it was sent to me without roots and no node I can see but both have new leaves growing. Its just the tips that are browning. Thank you for your help.

One does have a node on it, one doesn't, I've attached pictures of both.

Should I plant the one with the node in soil medium? What should I do with the one without the node? Thank you so much for helping me.

Woodnative, Monstera minima is another term for rhaphidophora tetrasperma.

Katie, I see a node on both of those pictures. The one in the first pic also has an aerial root.

How long have you had them in water? Sometimes they take a while to grow roots. It will eventually grow roots though.

Alternatively, you could just pot this as Ken suggested into some damp soil and keep them somewhat damp for a few weeks. Gently tug on it once in while to see if there is resistance which would indicate root growth.
