Beautiful shot of Exotic Starfish. You have several nice ones, but Starfdust Dragon is the "pick of the litter". Reindeer Antlers is a lovely red and I am always happy when Forsyth Garrett Mason starts blooming. It's a pretty one isn't it? Nice post, Kate.

Sherry, Stardust Dragon is probably the best budded in my garden every year but ”flash blooms” every day with 15-25 blooms. So it blooms out quickly. As for the weeds, I just accept I have lost that battle yet again!

Nancy, my Elegant Candy clump is huge and I need to divide it but it continues to bloom well.

Kay, I hope Exotic Starfish has taller scapes next year. It is so pretty.

Brad, I hope your Laura Harwood multiplies like mine. It is a thug (or would that be thugess?) in that bed.

Beatiful pic of Laura Harwood. You and Kay seem to have the right climate to get those open blooms. I'm wondering if our new place will be a good place to try it again. I've admired Reindeer Antlers when it is posted in the forum. Such a rich red color. So many lovely clumps Kate.

Oh, I can't bear to use the term 'lates' yet. Some of ours are sending up scapes, at what seems to us , very early in the season. I love the color on Laura Harwood, but my absolute favorite is Exotic Starfish. We added Reindeer Antlers last season and haven't gotten to see it bloom. I have heard good things about it.

Gosh, so many pretty ones. That color on Laura Hardwood is great. Lucky you to get real purple in your garden, not maroon. Exotic Starfish is showing off and is tempting even as a UF..................... I lost my Reindeer Antlers during the arctic blast this February. I know I'm in the minority, but the color never did much for me so I won't replace it. Yours looks dynamic...........Maryl

Julia, Laura Harwood is just beginning to open this week. Perhaps it would perform better for you due to the lateness of its bloom season.

Nan, I think you will like Reindeer Antlers. Exotic Starfish is dramatic but I need taller scapes.

Maryl, Reindeer Antlers is probably in the best spot for its color. It gets morning sun and dappled shade in the afternoon so it retains that rich velvety color all day.
