Way behind, cool story

I've not posted for days, will try to get some catch up.

Pink Lantis. Here's the cool story. A friend of mine bought it at a Philly daylily show back in the late 1980's. I discovered a few years ago it was not registered. A week or so ago a Bob Lantis contacted me about it. Seems it was his late Uncle's creation and not sure why it wasn't registered. He's trying to find all his uncle's daylilies and make a collection. I looked at the AHS website and there other by Lantis there but again not this one. I am glad he found this one!

Abundant Joy. Abundantly short.

How nice that you could help the hybridizer's nephew acquire the plant! These all look great! My favorites are Egyptian Ibis and Hot Wheels.

That is a nice story, Brad. Egyptian Ibis is a really pretty one, you should use it. I also like Glory to His Name.

Abundant Joy has a pretty face even if she is short. Maybe she will grow?.......... Chance Encounter is another favorite of yours for me and Becky Lynn may be an oldie, but she sure catches my eye..................Maryl

It's really sad when someone passes and leaves his collection of seedlings behind with no one to take them. It's good that the hybridizer's nephew is trying to save them.

Abundant Joy has a pretty eye. So many plants are short scaped that it is difficult to evaluate this year.
