I'd probably use window cleaner, but it would depend on what the finish is.

Window cleaner typically contains ammonia....I would use dish soap...like palmolive.

Oh, good catch Linda - I only use eco friendly window cleaner, no ammonia, Method or Biokleen. I use them on everything with no issues, but I failed to remember that lots of people still use products with harmful ingredients.
