I got this Japanese Maple tree this spring, labeled Bloodgood. I have placed it in the ceramic pot with some good potting mix since then. My plan is to keep it in pot one year till next spring when the ground planting site is ready.
It did well for 4 months but now the leaves are curling up, like little balls. No dead leaves yet. And the color is showing some green instead of red. Is this normal? Too little sun? It gets about 3 hour morning sun each day.
