Plants have been blooming for a while. Already apparent that shorter scapes and lower bud counts are widespread, though I have seen worse. For example, Omomuki is on short scapes; don't ever remember seeing that. For the first time, Jessica Lynn Bell is on short scapes--very short. Well, just hope that rain is adequate. First half of July is supposed to be mild, once we get through this hellacious weather.

Rose Masterpiece

Thomas Tew --after years of doing little and almost dying, it is on tall scapes and multiplying well. Unlike sib Christopher Moody.

Gotta love a good clump shot and you have lots here. Katherine Caldwell always looks good. Love the color on In the Heart of it All and that color seems pretty consistent in the data base. I did not have doves on my Ashville White Winged Dove either! Your Heavenly Dark Matter looks like a good clump-mine has barely multiplied.

Lovely blooms in your neck of the woods. it appears everyone is suffering the same bad weather, just at different times. I echo those same daylily woes, short scapes and smaller blooms on some. others seem to say ”bring it on”. My Gossards are all doing well.

Just fabulous clump shots. I think Early Shirley is my favorite, but that's really hard to say with so many to choose from. .........I adore your white lilies. If someone ever got a daylily that white it would be a cause to celebrate. That clump shines.........Maryl

It is great to see Still the One……..it is a recent addition here and had first bloom this week in the rain….now i know what i will see here at some point. How does Toucan Sam perform for you?
