I photographed an insect (one I think) in the stairwell leading to our backyard, and would like help identifying it (them). It's very small, about to 1/2" to 1" long

and is pink and bluish is colour. with pincers on one end and antennae on the other. I live in southern Ontario. I'm attaching a picture.
