Feanorian Lamps was a bonus from Bob Faulkner a couple of years back. It took awhile to get established but it was looking good today.

New Tangerine Twist is a favorite here.

Mulan is a nice big flower. It was also a bonus.

Now for a few singles.

Dearest Valentine was wonderful today.

This was supposed to be Carnival Splendor (which has a red eye). The seller identified it as Arctic Bear. It's a nice big flower.

Krakatoa Katie wasn 't very double today. It is always a fullter flower on rebloom (which it does consistently).

Pink Stripes was really nice today.

Some seedlings to come . . .

This seedling is All of My Love to You X Randy Stephens. It would be an intro if it develops enough buds.

As you might imagine, Bob likes this one. It is New Tangerine Twist X ((Born to Run X Southern Summer) X Gypsy Rose))

Here's another that Bob likes (I do too). It is Pineapple Bites X Ashwood Inferno.

Bob didn't care much for this one. It is Best for Last X Sonoran Desert Rose. It looks a lot like it pod parent but it has the plant habit of the pod parent. Best for Last does not do well for us. This seedling has a killer scape and is tall too. This is its first flower open today.

I was disappointed that the color on this photo is not right. This flower is actually pink. It is So Beautiful to Me X Sonoran Desert Rose.

This is a first year seedling. It is Sonoran Desert Rose X (Swimming with Sharks X Randy Stephens).

I think most everyone's Crazy Ivan has petal color that is a light yellow. It's registered as cream, but I think it should have been cream yellow. When photographed in the shade, it looks more white. I love the seedling bed shot! Those flowers seem to go on forever! What beautiful clump shots of your intros Cherry Pie a la Mode and Buckleberry Ferry! They look fantastic! Out of Balance is very attractive, and I don't think I've ever seen it before. Thanks for the glamour shot of Dearest Valentine. It looks really good there! I'm drooling over the All of My Love to You seedling. I hope it goes on to have good bud count for you. The other seedling that caught my eye was So Beautiful to Me X Sonoran Desert Rose. Just a gorgeous post all around!

I think you win the clump contest!! What a sight!!! I don’t know how you do it. I will say my Crazy Ivan is much whiter (or creamier) than your photo. Some of those differences in soil, climate, etc I suppose. Cherry Pie a la Mode makes a lovely clump; I like Feanorian Lamps; Dearest Valentine was showing off. Your orange seedlings are really striking but the All My Love to You seedling really stands out. Really pretty post.

Out of Balance looks very good. But are the scapes leaning a bit? What a wonderful bunch of seedlings. Bob's likes appeal to me as well. Best for Last was also a bummer here. As I recall, inconsistent opening and faded color. Dearest Valentine pic shows it was aptly named. What kind of bud count do you get on it in your area--like that of an older Stamile? I hope some of yours turn out to be good for introduction.

I love the field shot. It reminds me of the famous biblical passage:

"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Truly beautiful. I can't imagine trying to decide which one stays and which one goes.............New Tangerine Twist was new for me last year, and it barely survived the Feb. 2021 arctic blast. It's struggling in a 4 inch pot as we speak. I guess I could have pitched that small remnant but I liked it enough last year to try and salvage it. ...........I like the seedlings out of it. Bob and I both like the color orange quite a bit. I like the purple one too if it turns out well for you.......Maryl

Wow do you have the daylilies! such an incredible amount in the garden shot and I suspect you have way more than that.
