My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The Deluge cometh

I'm in the same weather system that is going eastwards to Brad (and probably Debra too). Early this afternoon this is what I saw in my back yard:


That's all rainwater from just this morning with more coming it looks like. I did see a new FFO out there and ran out to see how it was doing. For all the rain that was dumped on it, it is remarkably blemish free. I took it under the porch and snapped a picture. Thumbs Up for :

    Debra: This latest round today was on top of the 6 inches we got earlier this week and we already talked about the horrible humidity that preceeded it.............Celeste: I thought about you when this latest downpour occurred. I wish I could send some of it up your way and to the rest of you that need it........Mantis: I picked this daylily because I wanted to trial a Tanner and this one was from a rust free source. Hope yours does well and you post pictures.........Nancy: So you are getting overly wet too. I have quite a few of my daylies blooming now and they look ratty with all this rain. Kiss You In The Morning was the exception.......Julia: our system is supposed to stop for a few days or so too, with the weathermen doing their usual hedge during summer months by saying "except for occasional pop up showers". They always say that to cover their bases........Kate: You seem to be getting just the right amount of rain. Hope this system doesn't descend down your way and spoil your blooms. Our soil is horrible heavy clay and this will do some damage to some of the in ground plants if it doesn't let up soon..........Kay: All your outdoor kitties would be miserable in this. Thanks for the comments on the bloom. I thought it was a pretty color too...................Maryl
