would like to see the space, but probably leave the cans, assuming theyre well spaced out, and it wont look overcrowded

Here you go. It's a total mess at the moment with our remodel. The light fixture would go between the two cans with the table centered below. And the cans will be updated to look better than the ugly yellow ones there now.

leave the can lights and add a fixture on a separate circuit.
