It doesn't look like the Emma's Green Giant in the NGA database. It looks more gold than yellow green. I think there are probably a lot of daylilies that look like that. At least you like it!

Do you recal who you got it from? Perhaps wait for the next couple of blooms to open and see if the color changes. Looks awfully dark to be Emma based on the NGA site.

It's definitely not Emma's Green Giant. The form is all wrong and the color is off. Emma's GG is a softer yellow with green tints in the throat. Here is my Emma's GG:

Thanks Celeste, for showing your Emma, I know for sure mine isn’t it. I just wish I knew what it was. I dont remember where I got this daylily. I guess I will check websites where I have purchased and see what if I can find a match.

Heidi, you did it! This daylily didnt bloom last season and I moved it. The bloom or two it had two years ago were so small I honestly didnt recognize it. I had to go back and check my records to be sure. Thanks so much for jogging my memory : )
