Bathroom wall paint - BM white with Cloe tile

Hi Houzzers.

I’d love some recommendations for BM white paint for walls in our guest bath. the wall tile is Cloe white and the floor is dark green matte hex tile.. Tub is Kohler white and fixtures will be matte black. The bathroom has no window so no natural light. There are two can lights and will be a wall sconce next to the vanity mirror. vanity will be natural oak with white quartz counter.

I’m considering BM Chantilly Lace and Super White. Or something with a bit of grey like Decorator’s White or Cloud White. i want aomething clean and modern that will not feel dingy or compete with the Cloe.

Thanks for any insight! Pic attached.

I just used Behr Weathered White (in a SW paint) and love it. Just the right amount of neutral grey, but still bright.

Pretty! I would try classic gray - it’s a nice neutral gray.

Thanks for thoughts! I laid my super white sample on the floor the other day and it actually looks really beautiful with the green flooring. Since there will be a whole wall in just paint (and ceiling too) I may go Super White instead of trying to compliment the grey since. And we're using Super White in the kitchen also with Chloe tile (but the 5x5 square in kitchen). KR - we just did our garage in classic grey in our garage and it's really nice!

Can I ask about your tile? What did you use for the base of your niche? Is that the same cloe tile or something different? Also, did you trim the edges of the niche/shower with the cloe bullnose pieces or something else?

Love the cloe with the green! Where is the green floor tile from? Thanks!

I used BM Chantilly Lace for all the ceilings in my house. And used it on the walls as well in my primary bathroom -- see attached photo. I used BM Simply White for the trim on the exterior of my house. There are several off-whites that have green undertones (BM Horizon has a blue-green undertone) that may work in your space.

@Jenn Powers - someone above asked a question about what you used to trim your niche - Cloe tile has pencils but not bullnose tile (person above thought that you may have used bullnose). Please let me know. I’m planning on using dolomite marble for base and walls of niche and just have the edges polished - but yours looks nice, so I’m interested in finding out what you used. Thanks!

Hi @dani_m08 (grr, it's not letting me tag you on mobile app). It's the Cloe pencil! Here are some closeups. Hope this helps.

@Jenn Powers - looks great! what brand/color grout did you use?

@Marina Galassi- what color/brand grout did you use? I almost had my bathroom painted before my tile was installed - im really glad that the painters had a scheduling change. Initially, I wasn’t using Cloe White in the tub surround - and the paint color I selected would not have looked nice! I am very confused about what paint color to select now.

SimpleGrout #381 Bright White 1 Gal. Pre-Mixed Grout from Home Depot. It’s sanded but I wanted to have a premixed so it wouldn’t crack around my tub. I wanted bright white so make the grout lines less noticeable. I ended up just using primer because it was better than any paint that I’ve tried I’ve used 😂

What about a greige?  Something like Benjamin Moore Wickham Gray HC-171.

@Marina Galassi Cloud White is pretty warm, something like White Heron or White Dove or Extra White (SW base color) would probably work better with the gray in Cloe, or just a clean/crisp white like Chantilly.

What grout did you use for cloe? So pretty! I went with white grout and I’m considering staining it.
