I actually think the vanity you have is very nice. It looks like that and the countertop are in good shape ( maybe in real life it's different?) . I would change the lighting, faucets, and hardware(knobs/pulls) as I think that would give you so much bang for the buck.

I was going to ask the same question. It looks to be in good condition, and it's a whole lot easier /cheaper to paint the existing vanity than to replace it. Even if you end up changing out the counter top, you could keep the vanity.

It is old and the drawers are hard to pull out. Also the counters are too low

Is there a way too make the drawers easier to pull out? We dont like the green color either

The vanity is green? I actually thought it was a dark wood stain.

I don't know about the drawers but I think someone on here would know. ( I think yes there is a not complicated way to help that but I have no clue)

Its too low also …I would need to raise the height. Is it better just to buy a new vanity OR take this one out, sand it down update the hardware /paint and raise the height?????

I would visit your kitchen and bath specialty stores and I am sure they would give you a good idea of what you can fit in the space. It may be that your current dimensions with a new vanity could still work.
