That looks like what I have growing, thanks! It's a pretty enough plant and since it does not seem like a crappy weedy plant I'll leave it be for now.

Don't worry, I won't try eating it, even if someone does suggest to do so. I'll leave it for the wildlife :)

I think the leaves look more like the clammy than the virginia.

But either way, looks like it's native enough to where I'm at in Michigan. There are some happy little pollenators floating around it, and sounds like wildlife might like the mature fruit... and it's kind of pretty. I think I might have to snatch a fruit or two later this year. I don't think I have anything like this out back.

P. virginiana leaves are 1" to 3" long and 1/3" to 1" wide. P. heterophylla leaves are up to 4" long and 3" wide.

Scampered out for a second to check. Leaves are definately on the bigger and wider side.
