Could it be Stachys officinalis?

Leaf texture similar to Woundwort but winged petioles scream "Verbesina virginica". Frostweed because it's sap creates ice sculptures in winter, just like Cunila oreganoides and Crocanthemum, which also have the common name Frostweed. It's a beautiful plant. It's white flowers lack a full compliment of ray petals, but that just adds to it's charm. It can grow 10 feet tall, but it looks great after a spring shearing. I recommend deadheading because it'a an agressive seeder and the seedlings put down deep roots quickly.

It does look like a beautful plant. I hope it is not invasive, it has not flowered yet.

The winged petioles caught my eye too. I've never seen a Verbesina but I know it's aka Wingstem so that was my first thought too
