Beautiful pinks, Krista! There are newer pink Austins, but Gertrude’s intoxicating fragrance and voulptuous and exquisitely shaded blooms are some of the best the company ever created. Your Duchesse de R is gorgeous! I am growing really curious about Olivia R Austin. I keep seeing beautiful pics of her and hearing good things about her health and remotancy. Carol, Olivia Rose Austin is a wonderful rose. Mine has reliable repeat bloom, an excellent rose to grow with other Austins or antiques.

It has a moderate, sweet fragrance.

Gertrude Jekyll is one of the best Austins for quality of bloom and fragrance. I've been growing it for many years, still a garden favorite.
