he had his own line of hosta.. named for his garden ... hosta that were supposed to grow down south ... and when my coffee buzz wears off.. maybe i will remember the first name of the series ... lol ...

Thanks for your reply. After several days of racking my 75 year old brain I remembered the name of George Schmidt Hosta I have had for 25 years. I had lost the label. It is Gosan Leather Strap.

I was fortunate to visit his garden, Host Hill, years ago. He was a delightful man.

You are so kind to list all his hostas. I could not remember Gosan.

I am happy you remembered the name…….now make a new label. :-)
