Peaches: Deer got mine too but I'm using a spray called Bobbex today. Smells terrible but I don't want the deer dining on any of my other perennials since it already nipped a couple. Try googling "deer deterent home remedies" and some mixes do come up but not sure how well they will hold up after a soaking rain. I know someone, I think Debra, in the group used dryer sheets. Maybe she'll respond too.

For about three years I used various laundry products to keep deer away. I made a spray using liquid Gain Fabric Softener ( one-fourth cup) to three cups of water. I also cut Bounce fabric softener sheet into strips and tied those on scapes a intervals of about three feet. Also, deer hate the smell of mint. You can find liquid peppermint soap and mix it with watter for a spray. These all work pretty well unless you have many days of rain and the smell gets washed away.
