A few pictures showing more angles plus the showing the joints would help. Is there a label or writing anywhere on the piece? But based on this one photo my guess would be that it is a post 1950 mass produced pine reproduction colonial dry sink.

I sincerely doubt it's that old....it's typical of the early Amrican stuff of the 1940's and 50's. I believe it's made by Ethan allen. Itw as intended to be used as a bar.

Since you have a number of pieces, contact an estate sale company. They have experience pricing and evaluating furniture and decor. They do charge so you might get less than you were expecting, but they also are realistic about the market.

Yeah, it's really a challenge.

The hard part is my mom cared so much about this stuff and we are just going back and forth about what to do. Each of us four sisters have already picked other pieces we want.

I agree with the earlier post about contacting a company that does estate sales. There are several here on Cape Cod, not sure where your mother lived, but the sales are very well attended, they seem to get good prices for quality items, plus they sell everything in the house and leave it broom clean. The pieces you show are still very desirable in this part of the country.

Eldred's is an auction house so they will pick and choose what they are willing to sell on your behalf. There's nothing wrong with that and they will get good prices for you. If they only want a few items and you are still left with an entire house full of stuff, you may still want to look into the estate sale route for selling everything else. The process of selling off your mother's things might be very emotional, good luck to you and your sisters.
