I need advice on my living room rug. I like to change my accent color (right now turquoise/blue) depending on the season with pillows. I also change up the plant stand by sometimes putting art in it. So I’d like a rug I could use year round to go with Christmas colors (red/green) etc. The blue one I have is too short and only works with the colors I have now. So probably something that ties together forest green, gold, white, and beige? But I’m open to all advice. How busy should it be? I’ve tried a couple sizes and I feel like a 5 by 8 to a 5’3” by 9 would be the best size, but it’s a weird size so I might just have to go bigger, up to 7 by 11 feet.
