I had my unfinished basement done one year ago including a new shower put in. a few days ago the basement started to flood. Turns out there was a leak in one of the pipes in the shower. The contractor is saying the calcium content of my water erroded the pipe and its all on me, he wont pay a cent. Thats garbage as all my other 45 year old pipes are fine and this is brand new plumbing that has been leaking for months given the mould damage. I dont kbow what to do! i spent 40k on this, its all ripped out now and I dont have any money left nor should I fix this.
