1st plan. If you can....try for the pantry with a single door....18 in wide presume you have rollouts inside. you need to convert the majority if not all the base cabs to drawers. that is not indicated. work on that.

I never like having to cross in front of the stove to get from the fridge to the sink and I also never design sinks directly across from a stove . So neither IMO. True pullout pantries are always better than drawers behind doors that idea just adds to much effort to get stuff out of the . pantry All those base cabinets should be drawers and the ones on the sides of the range should be wide and deep enough to hold all your pots and pans with shallower drawers on top to hold all your gadgets. I am wondering if a cabinet salesperson is designing this kitchen and if so you need to get a proper KD

I like the first one best, but I'd put tall pantry cabinets on both sides of the fridge. And the little cabinet in the corner is throwing me off. I might orient the base the other way, and put shelves up top instead of an upper cabinet because it's a quirky little spot. Make it distinctly different so it looks deliberate.

I like the upper cabinets better in the second one.
