A rare Kordes rose Atombombe has been rescued and used in an art installation.
The resulting reaction is simply hysterical and does what the finest art does.

I saw that article in the Guardian! Crazy. It is amazing what some people consider offensive.

What?! Honestly, removal of a peaceful protest against nuclear weapons which were tested on the people of another country? An informational art installation discussing the relevant connections between past government actions and current government decisions? An installation which uses a simple plaque, benches and ROSES to create a space of private contemplation and soul searching? If all free speech was this thoughtful, non violent and connected to the earth….

I love how politicians who have nothing substantive to support their censorship of democratic cornerstones like free speech just basically say, ”It is not, and neither am I!” and ”Um! I’m gonna tell on you and tear up your stuff!”
