Blazing Saddles kid that's reblooming

Natalie Antoinette X Symphony of Praise - This one had it's best performance so far - 20 buds on the best scape, and it finally increased from four fans to 10.

Coco's Curiosity X Cexy Samantha #3 is reblooming.

Love the trio, they look very good together. A wonderful clump of All Of My Live to You! I know you are pleased that these seedlings are reblooming. I really like we the Blazing Saddles seedling.

Nancy - I'm glad you liked the trio of lates. I put more lates in that corner so I would visit that bed often. I am happy when I get seedlings that rebloom. Thanks for commenting.

I too like the trio of lates. Nice photo of them.Good color, form and edge on Mississippi Magistrate. Holly Dancer has a nice dark color with that contrasting throat.

All are nice pics and the seedlings just keep on giving for you.

August Frost just draws your eye to that bed of lates! How pretty! And how nice to have that clump of All My Love To You blooming this late. Rebloom on seedlings-a good trait to have!

Julia - I always like the bicolor Mississippi Magistrate in the late season. It does have nice form. Holly Dancer hasn't bloomed in a couple of years. It was the repeated victime of grub attacks and viny weeds.

Kate - All of My Love to You has just been a terrific performer since I got it in the ground three falls ago. Last year it bloomed until the middle of July, and this year it's going even later since it started blooming later than normal. It's such a pretty clump, and most of the scapes have bud counts in the high teens.

I like the Natalie Antoinette seedling with the rose highlights. Holly Dancer had its best season ever this year here, living up to the name, with blooms dancing at good height. All of My Love to You is barely above the foliage this year, but vigorous as ever. Symphony of Praise here also was taller, but it is not vigorous here. How can one explain the varying effects of winter and spring temps on different cultivars!

Mantis - My improvements on Symphony of Praise and Holly Dancer are tied to a reduction in the beetle population. Here I find the later freezes severely impact early bloomers, but plants with a lot of dormancy that are mids or lates seem to benefit from it.

Despite the season winding down, it still looks great in your garden! It’s great to see those lovely seedlings are still reblooming for you. I love the two clump shots, escpe islly the one with Northwing Dancer.

What a beautiful bloom for the end of the season on Awaken The Dawn. One of these days I may try a Koth to see what it does here...........I always like your Gillian. It seems to do so well for you.........Still liking your Surfin Dude too...............Maryl

Maryl - Awaken the Dawn is supposed to be pink, but it's more of a peach or apricot here. By the way, it's a dormant so it probably would survive your winters. In the high 90s, it doesn't have much color at all though. Gillian is have its best year ever, and Surfin' Dude is putting on a nice late show.

Sherry - I've never had so much color in the daylily beds this late in July. It really is amazing.
