upstairs hallway help

I’m trying to decorate my upstairs hallway. We’re in the process of hanging three pictures going down the stairway wall. I’m trying to decide whether to get colorful artwork, on more large framed picture of the family, or a photo gallery to hang on the opposite wall in between the 2 bedrooms. If I hang a picture or photo wall, I can get a large vertical painting for the stairwell wall. Also would you replace the runner or keep it?

I’m a drop confused. So just to clarify your asking what to do with the stairwell and the wall by the two bedrooms (which are decorated so cutely btw!!)
Anyways, I would not do the family pics on the stairwell. I’d probably do a pretty wallpaper going up. With a light fixture. (Reason for that - I personally don’t light art on a slant. Like the frames will probably be hung going down the steps ...)
I’d put those black and white pics between the two bedrooms. You may need another one to look symmetrical. And they may be a snippet too large. But try... :):)

Thank you! Yes, I’m mostly asking what to do with the wall in between the two bedrooms:). I’m not sure whether to hang an abstract painting with blue sand greens snd switch out the runner or whether to hang more framed pictures of our family.

If you have pics coming up the stair wall, then the abstract between the bedrooms is the way to go.

I love your family photos and would definitely use them on the stairway and add a 4th on the wall between the two bedrooms to unify the space. Then decide about the runner.

I like the idea of more family photos, or if you have a favorite artist, a nice picture would work too❣️

If I go with a family picture, Do you like the idea of one more large framed family picture or a photo gallery?

Your best bet is probably a photo ledge. You can put family pics, abstract and even Captain America on it.
