I'd put the wc where you've situated the standing shower. with a little privacy knee wall/magazine rack. By that plan the tub is rotated 90deg to fit along the top (left) wall. The vanity can be scooched over to the right corner. Where you placed the watercloset , thats were I would shift the door location . With a good drain in the floor , the whole room could be the 'standing shower' if you need one.

Technically the bathtub could go along the back wall where it is now (i agree i don’t like it cornered. ) But then you step out into a wall.

Could you close off that door and enter from closet? Move sinks down, turn toilet and enter water closet with sliding door from tub side

I see that the bathroom is 11'4.5" long. How deep is it? Can you give me the dimensions of your WIC? I mainly would like to know if it is wider than 7'0".

Ty for helping !! Buying the space from the closet is definitely an option, but with a big reno we were hoping to not have to knock any more walls down and just use the existing space bc that would
obviously save a little. As far as the wc goes there technically isn’t one there- we want to put one, but have to meet the minimum clearance (by code) ,whatever that is.

The bathroom is roughly 9 ft 6 in x 11 ft 4 in.

This layout kept your original bathroom dimensions. I put a single sink vanity and enlarged the toilet area a bit. I find that a 5ft 2-sink vanity is not long enough anyway. You get tiny drawers and just a little counter top because of the sinks taking a lot of space. I added a cabinet for more storage. The shower could be 5' x 3' to allow for more space around the tub.

In the layout above, I moved the door 3 ft to the right. It is where your vanity is now. The whole layout is in a room 11'4" x 9'6".

ohhh that’s interesting !! I like that idea ! Is there still room for the double sink, even if the bathroom space was a little smaller ?

Yes. The toilet and shower stay but you would need new plumbing for the tub and the vanity. You need a clearance of 22" minimum in front of the toilet to be to code. If you add a wall, I believe at most you can get a 4'11" vanity. I think this is too small for a double sink vanity. There might be other options but it would require to move the toilet and that is the most expensive thing to do.

The other option would be to eliminate the window and turn the vanity on that wall then you could get a 6 ft long vanity but I like natural light in a bathroom.
