If you are in a rental, I would not do wallpaper due to the expense. Temporary wallpaper is removable, but still much more expensive than paint. See if you can find a greige neutral paint that your landlord won't make you paint over when you leave. The last thing you want to do when you are moving out is to paint a room. One suggestion is Ben Moore Pale Oak. Add interest with art, plants, accessories.

You already have a patterned iron bed and patterned type dresser and handles. Please, no more patterns. You could paint it a solid color behind?

That's what I was afraid of. I'm desperately trying not to paint, the room is 17x12 with vaulted ceilings

I think having wallpaper behind the bed would be beautiful. A floral pattern would look nice with the curves of the bed, and I’d stick to ,ore muted tones so it doesn’t overwhelm the furniture. You could also paint the bed so it gets a little punch if you wanted. I’d say go for it. It’s a rental so give it a little oomph!

I haven't, but peel and stick makes it sound easy, lol. I'd have to get permission to paint and would have to do the entire room. The wallpaper is one non-vaulted wall... I should've labeled the links better, there are actually 5 peel & stick papers.

Ahhh...I thought the wall to be papered was vaulted. If I were you, I'd just leave it, and instead invest in fabrics (bedspread, pillows, curtains) and artwork to make it work. The white bedspread you have is too cool of a white for your furnishings, and colors will make the room cozy.

I love your choices of wallpaper especially the one with the blue background, although it is considerably more in price. But the others were nice choices if they all go with your beige walls. The idea of finding bedding to coordinate with both wall colors is good too.

Not sure I would pair wallpaper with an elaborate headboard such as yours. If you do I would suggest a simple pattern and more muted color scheme that doesn't compete with your furniture. Good luck!

I think wallpaper would look great and go very well with your pretty headboard. Iron beds and wallpaper are a classic look (Victorian, cottage style, traditional, shabby chic, boho, etc).

I mocked-up your choices and most clash, IMO … too cool in tones. I think you need something with warmer colors.

Thank you, that's a great point about the warm vs cool tones, I'm not great at focusing on that and get overwhelmed when choosing. Would you chose a simple warm beige for a new bedspread with the 1st blue paper? I love the 2nd choice of paper, but it's not peel & stick. I'll can look for something similiar. The red actively bothers me and I'll be here for a whole year.

It’s pretty neutral, you could definitely use warm beige. I’d get a sample of the paper first, if possible, just to see how the colors are in real life.

Sorry, not a great mock-up, but hopefully gives a general idea. If you go with something strong and dark like this, I’d get pillows that coordinate with it. It’ll give a more cohesive look.

ETA: Somehow I just saw this link you posted, missed it before. I like it, but you’d need to see it in the room to make sure you don’t get a pinkish beige vs any gold tones in the room. It's hard to tell from just computer images:

I like that. It is very bold — just depends on the look you’re going for. It has warm and cool tones both, you’d just have to see it in the room to decide.

It does take the room in a different direction. I like the ’softer’ papers better, but that’s just personal preference.
