Building a Home Porches & Decks Design Dilemma

Front porch cypress posts (leave unwrapped?)

Wrap the tops and bottoms or leave them unwrapped? They are on the edges of the porch as is, so wraps would make them look over the edges. i personally love the look unwrapped (will stain of course) but was curious if it is common without them wrapped. thanks!

If you decide to wrap them, do not let the person that took the pictures perform the work, they won't turn out straight.

This is the house where the porch roof was off kilter? Did that get fixed?

If you mean wrapped, like these, then I say yes. On the bottom, the wrap acts to help protect the wood.
