help with small kitchen layout :(

having a lot of trouble trying to figure out the best layout for my super small kitchen. footprint has to be the same because the whole first floor is so narrow, cant move the load bearing beam, and need the side door to stay. new countertop however will widen to have an overhang to accommodate a few stools for seating so pony wall will either extend to the end of that or where the overhang starts (not sure which is better). first pics are the old kitchen that is now demoed. not replacing the overhead cabinets so losing storage there and because of cost need to have slide in range instead of wall ovens. sketch pic my dad drew which seems like is my only choice for a way to have the dishwasher next to the sink because putting on peninsula side would make the peninsula push kitchen out too far into the living space. And The range on the end is not ideal, but gives me the most useful counter space. The other pics are what the cabinet guy came up with for pantry and drawer placement although left out where the microwave would be going on the left side of the fridge. last pic shows how narrow the space (replacing all furniture).
thoughts on configuration and length of pony wall to countertop?
