Tomato Pests & Diseases Growing Tomatoes Garden

What are these spots on my tomatoes?

I don't think it's bacterial canker since the plant is still alive, but for a few weeks my Black Cherry tomatoes have been getting these spots when ripe. Any ideas on cause and prevention?

It looks like stinkbug damage.

Agree it does resemble insect punctures similar to stink bug bites, although my stink bug scars are generally larger than the ones in the pic.

I don't think it's stinkbugs. They appear even after we bring the tomatoes inside.

Could possibly be bacterial spot. Do you have leaf spots? It might look a bit different because of the dark coloration of your tomatoes. Do the centers of the spots crack after awhile? I am battling it on my tomatoes this year - most of them have it and I just cut off the bad parts otherwise most of my tomatoes would go in the trash. If you are vigilant with copper application you can keep it from destroying your tomato harvest.
