you prune according to the type of the rose ... not the name of the rose ..

Amanda, I had to laugh because I hate to deadhead my Cinco de Mayo roses and put it off. They bloom so prolifically, it takes forever and so densely, you can't see the stems. Knowing the right way is indispensable, but I doubt you can hurt this incredibly tough rose. I think it has a constitution of steel.

A timely post as I deadheaded mi e yesterday. Honestly, I grab a clump and cut. I dont think that you can hurt this rose with incorrect deadheading .it seems to be pretty bulletproof.
