I have a new Electrolux and yes. It also has a 15 minute quick wash that I am more likely to use than rinse only.

It may depend on which machine or model you have. My Miele front-loader has a separate rinse cycle as part of the many cycles it offers. My sister has an LG front loader, and it too has a separate rinse setting if you want to just do a rinse. But I don’t know if every front loader washing machine has one. I advise you to check the machines you are interested in. All the brands’ websites list the cycles each machine offers. For me, a sanitize cycle was also a requirement.

Rinsing doesn't clean anything. I tried that once when I was at a vacation rental without laundry detergent in the middle of the night, not worth wasting the water on rinse.

I think all front loaders have a "rinse/spin" cycle. Most have a quick wash cycle too that's shorter than a full wash if you do want to wash

My LG has a "Quick Wash" and "Rinse and Spin Only" cycle. However, it's a top loader, but I think it's fairly common with both front and top loaders.

Mine has a Drain/Spin cycle, which I run but add the "extra rinse" button, and it will then only rinse, drain, spin.

My Bosch is about 13 years old and it does not have a standalone rinse cycle. It will spin, but not rinse. I wish it did.

OP, do you have the owner's manual? If not, you could probably find it online.

My last machine is not a front loader, I don't have the height for one on pedestal with my built in upper cabs with lighting under them. I'd rather not be committed to using a 'reach' or getting down on my knees, crawling in, to retrieve my washed clothes by placing one sans pedestal.

My top loader purchased one year ago has about 14 choices but is missing a 'rinse and spin' It has only drain and spin which is hardly the same. Thank goodness DH has retired because I used rinse and spin a lot at one point. He would come home muddy. Garden hose in the driveway very happy (loved his work) but muddy. I'd follow the garden hose treatment with a rinse and spin, then wash, rinse two more times.

Our Miele W4842 has a "Rinse&Spin" cycle that fills up the tub well over halfway, tumbles around for a few minutes, drains, fills again, and finally spins out.

@bpath - Do you have an "extra rinse" button? I didn't think our Whirlpool had a rinse/spin option either, but then I noticed if I ran the "drain/spin" cycle, I could activate the extra rinse and voila!

I have a Maytag front loader and there is not a "rinse & spin" option specifically. THANK YOU! To wiscokid -- because I was just trying to figure out how to do it and there's the solution!

Sure - my previous LG and my Gorenje both had a rinse and spin option.

I had a front loader for about 5 years, hated it. I love to "soak" white's. I never found a solution to do that, and I tried. It went bad after five years and I was thrilled to get new top loader. Old school, I guess.

My old one, a Kenmore, didn't have the rinse only option.

I had to go look---The new one, about 6 months old, is a Whirlpool. It doesn't have a rinse only option either. But it has the "quick" cycle which like Oly's is 15 minutes.

@wiscokid, my Bosch does have an extra rinse option to add to a wash cycle, and I usually use it. And it has a separate spin cycle, and i use it when I don’t think the wash cycle hasn’t drained well enough. But I would like a separate rinse/drain cycle. Sometimes I have something that I don’t want to wash, just rinse. So, I run a wash cycle without detergent.

Judy I’ll agree that presoaking isn’t satisfactory. What I do is put it on the presoak cycle, then pause the machine for a while after it’s filled and rolled a few times. Continue, let turn again, pause again. Repeat. Obviously a lot of hand holding.

I saw a laundry video once where the guy added a lot of water to a cycle by sticking a garden hose into the detergent dispenser. he did it for comforters but it could just as well be done for whites. If you trust your seal.

If I want to soak in hot water (my soak cycle will only fill with cold water), I turn on a regular wash cycle (and if bleaching wait until the water has passed through the bleach dispenser and the clothes have tumbled a few good turns), then I turn off the power/start button on the machine. I then turn it on again with the delay start activated. It will then restart the wash cycle after it's soaked for however long I delay the cycle.

Mine does not, but it does have a "Speed Wash" cycle, but I've never used it.

I think you could use an extremely short rinse cycle without detergent and get the results you want.

Pudeger, on your Whirlpool, power up the machine, select drain and spin and then select the extra rinse button. that hsould give you a rinse & spin option.

My Electrolux has a 12-minute rinse and spin cycle. But you can run any short cycle, not adding anything into the water to do the same thing.

Our Samsung has a quick wash cycle, but no rinse only. you could do like hisown said.I don't think I would feel comfortable having anyone use a towel and think it's been washed when it hasn't.

The briefest setting on my last machine is quick wash, no third rinse, at 47 minutes. That's almost twice as long as a full wash, completely clean for work or gardening clothes had taken using my faithful Maytag in the 70's/80's. I can remember waiting for the dryer to finish so I could begin another load. Now the dryer is done, those clothes are folded and put away and I'm still waiting for the washer to finish.
