We are going to redo our bathroom. We took it down to the studs about 11 years ago. We have a tub/shower combination, and I would like to take it out and put a shower in its place. At the same time we will replace the toilet, and possibly the sink/faucet, tho I do like the sink we have, which is some sort of solid surface from Menards..Swanstone or something maybe?

Anyway, what I would *like* to do is a solid surface floor and walls. We would be doing it ourselves, so panels I believe would be our best bet?

We’re not in a rush by any means, so I’m just using the time to research what would be best for us. We have a Menards, Lowe’s, Home Depot an hour away, and a Handyman store there as well, which has the Onyx Collection. The box stores, I know they have some things, but I’m not sure exactly what they are.

I don’t want anything fancy, looks wise, I’m good with plain white panels. Any particular brands to research? I know the Onyx Collection isn’t true solid surface. I looked up the Kohler Choreograph, but all it tells me is the places that sell Kohler products, doesn’t specifically say if they have the Choreograph.

I don’t want to clean grout, hence the solid surface panel idea. Our bathroom is small, just 5x7 so the tub/shower combo that we currently have isn’t very big. I did think about one of those premade shower enclosures, like the tub/shower combo we have now just minus the tub part, that fit into the space, or a corner one, as I know it would be a lot less expensive (and maybe after researching all this, I’ll have to change directions and go that route, I don’t know). We were at Menards today and I wanted to look at those, but they were changing out the displays so things in the way. I did see they have other panels you can put up, but couldn’t get in there to see what the brands were, to google them and see what the ease of cleaning etc would be.

Any thoughts what else to look at?
