Hi, I have some solid wood do I g room chairs in great shape but with 20 years of grime from daily use. Has anyone had chairs refinished, not painted? And if so would you mind telling me how much it cost per chair? And if anyone can recommend someone within 50 miles of Cleveland Ohio that would be great!

The last time I had a pair of Louis xiv chairs restored I paid in the neighborhood of $4k each but it increased the appraised value quite a bit more than that. I can't help you with any place near Cleveland,I wound up sending mine to France.
