Thanks for posting. I love seeing them. I just bought (some more) Salvia plants and while they rest on the patio table I see them come by multiple times every day.

Why can't I like the original post any more?

Great pix! I get Baltimore Orioles but not hummingbirds even though I have salvia and separate feeders for the orioles and the hummingbirds. Grape jelly for the orioles and the water with sugar for the hummingbirds. Of course, each August the yellow jackets swarm the jelly so the orioles have to duck around the bees!

I wish I had humming birds! I don’t try to attract them because the cats don’t need that temptation…….and the humming birds don’tneed the aggravation for sure. I have seen them at my aunt’s house and seen programs of the town that they stop in before their long migration. People in the town have feeders everywhere—- including hats with feeders on them!!

steve, are you in the houzz app or the garden web link? I still can get in thru the bookmark garden web that I made long time ago. But I notice things get weird in the forum link. I was able to like your comment in houzz.

I love hummingbirds. Thanks for posting the pics.

I'm in gardenweb and I can like comments but not OP. I like the large flowered Salvias more than the typical garden ones and so do the hummers. I just got Salvia darcyi, canaryensis and Wendy's Wish. I used to grow a ton of them in southern California but am looking into hardy ones now or growing them as annuals.

Wonderful pics frankielynnsie. My hummers are being camera shy this year. I rely on flowers only - no feeders.

I can't like the OP either and I am on gardenweb. For a couple of months now I seem to be seeing a hybrid of gardenweb/Houzz. There is no way to like the OP only follow and I am on a PC. Not good but better than strictly Houzz.

debra, hats with feeders?!? I would really LOL if I saw that! Sounds like great spirit in that town.

What peren.all said goes for me. Laptop, hybrid of Houzz/Gardenweb, can't "like" the OP.
