A Few More Hummingbird Pictures

It is hard to get them totally in focus because they are moving so fast. I am sitting 4 ft away from the feeders on the front porch. They are really kind of mean chasing and flying into each other. I can hear their beaks click together at times. They grab the lower petals of the hosta flowers with their feet and pull the blossom into their faces, I have tried to get a picture of this but by the time I click the camera the are finished and gone. There is always tomorrow to try again.

Great work, i know how hard it is to photograph these little creatures, still trying for a good shot here.

Fantastic photos. I don't have the patience and the camera to photograph mine so I will just enjoy yours!

Well done! Much closer than I've been able to get. They move so fast they don't make it easy. I wonder why they are all so feisty and so bad at sharing? I see them charge at each other, but I've never heard them battling with their beaks (not that I recognized). But so tiny and cute that I look forward to them every year.
