Hi there - we actually kept the majority of the home intact, only taking the kitchen and family rooms down to the studs (necessary because of having to retrofit the new windows into concrete block). The rest of the main floor - 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, living room and mud room - had cosmetic changes only. You'll notice that the main floor/front of the house is the same layout as the original, but with a 2nd storey addition and flat roof. But thank you for thinking the reno was dramatic enough to look like a new build!
