Why not look a security glass instead for a nice attractive door with some glass in it. We had those in a store I worked in and someone tried breaking and did not succeed the glass only was broken but the film kept them from getting in .IMO security doors are always ugly and in most cases only look 1/2 way decent on a spanish style house . Really if someone wants into your house there are easier places to enter like a window . Get a big dog or a really good alarm system IMO a much better choice than the prison look door.

Spending how much? This is what we bought [Lowe's hd. can't remember]

In person, years ago, seems there was display with typical 'good' 'better' 'best' choices.

As mentioned on your other post. Look into HMI as they have some of the best residential products for this application. Stay out of the box stores.

I’d look at the frame and locking system as well as the appearance, since installation matters too. Knight Blinds & Security is one name to research for security doors and screens.
