I have a Z Line KL3-48 Wall Mount Range Hood, it has (2) 3w LED lights in the back of it. They aren't bright enough for cooking for me. The LED driver recently (ok, almost a year ago) went out so i might as well see about fixing it and upgrading it.

What sort of options do i have? Can i put in brighter bulbs? I feel like I'd prefer to have the light coming more from the front than the back... what about running some LED strip lights along the front? the bezel is small, maybe 1/2" so i can't put any recessed lights there.

Anyway, anyone have any suggestions?
