Your room could use floor/table lamps. Wall lighting from sconces or task lights doesn’t usually project enough lighting for reading on a sofa.

Is there room to pull the sectional away from the wall so behind it you can add either a floor lamp in the corner or a narrow sofa table with lamps?

Does the couch have end table(s) that a table lamp(s) can be placed on?

Consider adding a dimmer for your ceiling lights.

In the corner, behind the couch I might add a 3 headed floor lamp.

...next...a pharmacy lamp by the plant, at the end of the couch.....mixing styles is OK if you keep colors the same..

Sure you do. Move the plant stand to the other side of the TV. Rotate the rack 90 degrees so it's against the TV wall.* Move the stuff that surrounds the sofa. Slide the sofa away from both windows. Now you can use floor lamps next to or behind the sofa.

*or get some storage for the empty wall instead of having the rack jammed in the corner. It could hold the stuff that now surrounds the sofa too.
