Yellow dayliiles blooming now?

I noticed a daylilly blooming in my area(north georgia) over the last month(probaly longer). These are short and compact like a stella de ora but they are a bright yellow like a lemon. The stellas are more of a cream yellow and the stellas bloom early spring in my area. These are blooming now/late summer. Most dayliiiles in my region(7B) have quit blooming except these. Does anybody know what they are called? I drive by a few on my comute to work so dont have a pic but will try and get one if I have too.

Happy Returns is definitely short and compact. Very vigorous, loves being divided and flowers quickly afterwards.

There are lots of repeat blooming daylilies. Stella is one and she - normally a school bus yellow color - blooms late spring/early summer and again in late summer/early fall. There are also a bunch of other yellow flowered repeat bloomers so it could be one of many.

There is good chance they are Happy Returns, this one fits your description. They are used alot in general landscaping. A photo would help.

I agree they're probably Happy Returns. I had them in my previous garden. A beautiful shade of lemony yellow that goes with everything. They bloom even longer if you cut the spent stalks all the way down. Then they take a short break, and produce a slightly smaller flush in late summer/fall.

I have Going Bananas, which I love. Supposed to be an improved version of Happy Returns, but I never had HR, so I have no idea if GB is better. It’s a little bit taller than Stella.

I did a google search and it looks just like happy returns. One thing I cant tell with the google images is if its short and compact.. Is happy returns short and compact like the stella de oro? I like the short and compact look.

It also might be Big Time Happy, which is a child of Happy Returns and always reblooms for me this time of year.
