I used to bring them cuttings during winter too. Give them a bright light but keep them out of direct sunlight until active growth resumes next year. Then slowly acclimate them to being outside in pots.

So obviously they are brought in for the winter. Right now I have them shaded and kept moist but not wet. I hope they make it (2) as my transplant of the whole camellia crashed. I just didn't have enough roots - plant resisted moving big time! Really appreciate your input. Thanks again.

Yep - tricky biz these lovely plants. I may be in the market come spring for another one!! There's a site on ebay that gets good reviews that sells them for around $22 with free shipping. (quart pot- I think that is a 6" pot). My source (Logees) in Ct sells them for $20 with 10.95 shipping. 4" pot. Ebay seems a better deal. Thanks again.
