Can you turn the sectional so it faces that wall? Otherwise, I don't think you have room for a console. If you keep it by the window, I would pull it away from the wall so that it is centered in the space.

The pictures look randomly placed. Place them so that their top are in a line.

What are you planning to do in this space? Agree with above that it most likely should be rotated. Just kinda awkward now facing dining space

The sectional seems very large for that space, but I guess you know that. Why is the rug (and the sectional) shoved all the way to the right?

More furniture is not the answer here. Unless it’s a small coffee table.

What room is this? Family room off the kitchen or your living room? If it’s your family room where is your TV going? I would center your rug and sectional with your plantation shutters or turn the sectional around, and definitely change picture arrangements, possibly different frames etc

It seems to me that it would not look as imposing if it were placed under the pictures with the chaise up against the windows. Then one does not see the bulk of the chaise. I would think you could then have a narrow console on the wall where the chaise is currently.

What is the purpose of this room? TV above console?

Can the whole sectional rotate to go on the left wall? Then you could have a lounge chair in the right corner by the windows. I really don’t like it in front of the windows and centering it won’t help.

Maybe the lounge chair would have to go on right closer to where the shot was taken as the chaise lounge may not allow a chair there….anyway, best to post the room dimension and sofa dimension if you want best suggestions

I’d like to see the other 1/2 of the space where the table is. The ceiling fan is leading me to believe that that is the center of the living room.

Another reason to not buy a sectional. I agree the left wall is probably a better place or maybe just face the window . I need to know meaurements if you really want help. The art is all hung too high and also too high in the advice about them being all at the same height

Try sectional on both of the other walls and decide what works visually as well from a practical perspective. On the opposite wall, ground with console/art or TV unit, etc.

Be sure to centre rug, add some low lighting (or console if using, or floor lamp) and a small coffee table would be useful. (Not sure if red cushions work. )

Yes.

I would try turning it 180 to face the windows with the chaise side pushed to the wall and you walk into the living area space around the back right side of the couch. Then it has a view through the windows instead of the dining table. A super cozy sitting area!

We might suggest putting the sectional on the wall where you want the console (assuming it will fit there). Then you would be able to place a console on the wall opposite and either a TV or artwork above it.
