Following. I am considering the same countertop and have the same question

I have polished Silestone quartz, color: soapstone kitchen countertops, and love them!! Easy to clean with dishsoap and water. No issues. I would stay away from the sueded finish: I have read posts on issues cleaning the sueded finish.

I just had my eternal statuario polished installed today. It's beautiful.

I don't have the appliances, pulls, or plumbing hooked up yet; those will be tomorrow. The patching up of the backsplash will happen some time in the future (it is saved from the previous kitchen). But here's what I have as of today. I got lucky: no seam anywhere! They gave me my sink side all in one piece! The veins are a subtle bluish-grey, at least, to my eyes. Sorry for the potato camera on my phone.

Carol, its gonna be amazing! Do update as it gets close to completion. Lucky you on the no seams! I have a corner and unfortunately no way to avoid a seam. Hope it wont be too bad

Hi Christiane, no we ended up with honed danby marble instead. The sample of statuario suede that I did test had no issues with staining... I just fell in love with the look of marble (although in hindsight may not have been the best for us because the way the light streams in through the windows in our kitchen highlights every etch)
