Summer is over, I agree on that one. The sun has been in autumn mode for a couple weeks.

But got no idea why you say it's too late for the Northerners without winter setups. Even though it's feeling like autumn, I still have several weeks before I need to think about moving my citrus into it's winter setup.

Summer doesn't seem to be over yet here on the West Coast.

Summers still going strong here the NYC area, been over 90 for the last two days and supposed to stay that way until Saturday.

I don't think we even had a summer. We have had more rainy days than you can shake a stick at and 28 of the 30 days of July was cloudy. My summer ended in June. Now any hot days I get if I am lucky are just a bonus.

I'm ready for some weather in the 80s for a change. This mid-90s with high humidity gets old, however citrus seem to be loving it. Still getting lots of good growth. Meyer lemon decided to bloom this month.

113 yesterday at my house in the desert, were headed to 115 today and 116 tomorrow. I’m not quite ready to close the books on summer. Fall is coming soon though, this past weekend we had some respite from the heat and only saw highs around 101 and lows dipped into the mid 70’s at night.
