Do you have plans for you new kitchen or a budget? Making the window bigger with you current mechanicals and framing are gonna limit you. The window can go slightly larger in the exsisting opening. If your gonn open it up you may have to redo the header, siding midifucations , move the electrical unless you raise the windows and maybe move the vent. If it is a dryer vent id check on code on how close it can be to your window. I’d ditch the bump out if changing the opening.

Does the elctrical come from above or the basement . Electrical is easily moved and IMO a large metal framed window with no bumpout would my choice removing the bump out woulld allow for a larger window even if you did not move electrical

The electric is coming from the basement. I will get some cost estimates on moving it.

Lose the bump-out and the clunky window currently in the wall.

I would replace it with a narrow frame awning window, either fiberglass or vinyl, if I was making the call.

It all depends on your budget. I would get estimates on everything you potentially want to do (moving electric, getting rid of the bump out, cost of window etc.), and then from that point make your decision on what’s most important.

Without moving electrical, you’re pretty limited in the width of the window due to your meter outside. As others have said, I would go with the thinnest frame possible but would also extend the window all the way down to the counter which will really help to open things up. So if budget was not an issue, I would lose the bump out (as it makes the window feel like it’s in a little cubby hole), move the electrical, and install a large window that extends way beyond the sink area. You have such a pretty view, it’s a shame not to capitalize on it.
