Help identify animal hand/foot prints

I am located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA near the water. My property is surrounded on all four sides by a 6' tall privacy fence.

I have a set of double doors in the rear of the house that is rather dirty and needs cleaning, as I was about to clean them I noticed some rather unique hand or foot prints on the glass. Here is a full picture of the doors, look closely to the upper left glass pane where I drew a red rectangle.

Here is a closer picture. Whatever it is the prints are all over the glass from top to bottom.

Here are two more pictures with a close up of one pair of prints. Looka like four/five fingers in each hand/foot.

There are no kids in the house, the property is fenced in so any animal that comes inside has to be able to climb a six foot tall fence, or climb over the trees then drop down. I have seen opossums, feral cats, raccoons roaming around, I have also seen crabs, frogs, toads, iguanas passing by.

What kind of animal? Can climb up a pane of glass? Frogs? Raccoons?

Raccoon? They have long fingers and are good climbers.

Is it possible somebody in your house forgot that they touched that glass on the outside? How how off the ground are the prints? I can't imagine that any smaller animal could climb up glass........unless it was standing on another animals back?? Very curious.........

my guess would be opposum prints. good climbers. Do you have any wasp or bee nests above that door that would attract them? crittercontrol.com has photos and can also come look and help you get rid of them.

No. It's not from someone in the household. We don't have anyone in the house with that small a handprint. In addition, these prints are all over the glass panes, from the very bottom to the top, some are overlapping. It's hard to take a picture showing that but these prints filled the entire glass surface from repeated trips up.

All I can think of is that it was several coons that could clime up on each other. I just can't see that any animal could clime up glass, without falling and smearing those prints. My next guess is that it's an alien being of some sort. ;) Could you get a motion sensor camera?

The only thing I know that can climb a glass window is a gecko lizard.

Some of the other marks appear to resemble branches or something that was blown up against the glass. I don't think it's any animal or human. Has anyone leaned something up against the glass since you last cleaned it?
