BENNETT DAYLILIES
Here is my ranking of the Bennett daylilies that I grow. Now I am somewhat surprised as to this ranking, but I figured that some of the later bloomers are more fresh in my memory and that they are still blooming. More about that as I list them. I also recently found the last list that Bud Bennett mailed out and I had 12 of the 14 plants listed for sale.
1. SHOWTIME MAGIC: Great polychrome that is a consistent rebloomer for me. It is the only consistent rebloomer for me regardless of the amount of rain.
2. CARELESS DREAM: In his last catalog, Mr. Bennett said that this was the best plant he had blooming in his garden. He also noted that it was slow to increase. I think that this is the fourth year in the ground for me and it produced huge blooms with great ruffling. So it really got my attention this year. It is pod and pollen fertile.
3. SITTING COOL: Will always rank high for me. I love the pastel colors and the midrib.
4. JAZZ ME BLUES jumped up on my list due to the potential pattern hybridizing in its jeans. Did not always see the pattern, but one morning, the only two blooms that were open showed the pattern.

5 years ago5. WILD CHERRY WINE: Love the ruffling on this one. This was taken early in the morning.
6. JUBILEE BALL: Taller than most of Mr. Bennett's intros. All of the blooms face out
- FAST PLEASURE: Great plant and color saturation
8. KIWI MAGIC: This is a great smaller bloomed plant.
9. TACTICAL CAT: Another smaller bloomed plant. I love the contrast between the eye and petals.
10. FASHIONAIRE: This is a classic that I still love. One of the first ones I purchased from Mr. Bennett.

11. PASSING FANCY: This one was a great performer. Well branched scapes. May move up in future rankings
12. BEAUTY IN MOTION: This one may suffer from blooming early. It is great when there is little to no competition.
13. POLAR FIZZ: Great cream with a white midrib.
14. BO KNOWS: This is a bloom machine. It is sinfully pod fertile as the bugs loaded it with pods.
15. DOING ALL RIGHT: An edged no eye. I love this one. This is also slow to increase. I moved it last year and I did not even recognize it this year. Where I had it before, the main petal color was more yellow. I like were it is now.
I grow over 40 Bennett intros and I love them all, some just more than others. I still managed to not get a photo of all of them.
